The PRAEVIS Standard™
The PRAEVIS Standard™ is the central executive operating framework within PRAEVIS. It translates foresight, prevention, governance, accountability, risk, safety, and organizational reliability into leadership practice.

Purpose of the Framework
The framework directs executive attention upstream: toward the decisions, structures, incentives, authority, operating conditions, and accountability systems that shape outcomes before an incident, failure, or public consequence becomes visible.
Foresight
PRAEVIS is rooted in the idea of pre-vision—the disciplined work of seeing and governing conditions before failure becomes visible. The name is pronounced PRAY-vis.
Foresight requires leaders to examine developing conditions, not only completed events or lagging measures.
Prevention and Accountability
Prevention becomes an executive discipline when authority, responsibility, escalation, and decision ownership are clear. Accountability extends beyond reviewing outcomes to governing the conditions that make those outcomes more likely.
Governance and Structural Risk
The Standard examines how reporting lines, incentives, resource decisions, oversight practices, growth, schedule pressure, and organizational distance can allow risk to accumulate while formal systems appear stable.
Reliability and Organizational Conditions
Organizational reliability depends on the alignment of leadership intent, operating reality, decision rights, information flow, and the capacity to act before visible failure. The framework treats safety and reliability as products of the broader system leaders govern.
Cross-Industry Application
The framework applies across transportation and logistics, aviation, healthcare, construction, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, public service, and other environments where leadership decisions carry organizational or public consequence.
